I came across Dieter and Keith of DK Conservators via a friend and they restored the above antique print by removing it from the cardboard backing (attaching prints with glue to a cardboard backing is a killer for conserving art!), the dark patches on the print have all been removed and now the next step is to back it with museum mount board lightly attached with the correct tape at the top only. Dieter and Keith can restore just about anything on paper such as old books, antique photographs, artworks on paper etc.
